Our vision

Our Vision

Capitalizing on the emergence of new horizons for prosperity, security, and peace.

Global Collaboration:
UK – Gulf States – Israel – Africa

Our unique strategy is leveraging the challenges faced across our partner countries into aligned collaboration and opportunities for all to achieve their economic and geopolitical goals.

This partnership can be a powerful force for change in Africa. Generating jobs and growth, eliminating poverty and ending aid dependency.

Vision for a new era

Geopolitical currents are opening up new opportunities for economic partnerships. As the UK seeks to forge its post Brexit direction, this is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership on global development, security and stability and expand markets for British companies.

For the Gulf States and Israel, collaboration with entrepreneurs and innovators in Africa will underpin improving political and economic relationships.

Many African countries want investment in sustainable jobs and growth with an end to aid dependency. UniTI provides a unique opportunity to support African nations to achieve these aspirations for sustainable prosperity and security.

We have so much to gain together!

UniTI Africa has three overriding objectives:

  • Accelerate economic and social development in Africa through leveraging private sector innovation and investment, focused on delivering sustainable change and replacing aid dependency.

  • To support post-Brexit UK trade, security and commercial priorities, as an outrider for the UK Governments’ vision for Global Britain.

  • Strengthen Middle East peace and stability through galvanising collaborative private–public sector partnerships utilising Gulf State, Israeli and UK innovation and expertise for the prosperity of Africa.

We will seek to develop and showcase best practice by helping to build communities which combine private sector growth, modern public services, active citizens and good governance.

The Impact of COVID-19

The impact of Coronavirus on Africa is expected to be severe.

The pandemic is illuminating the ongoing challenges posed by weak infrastructure, emphasising the imperative for African countries to unleash their full development potential.
To achieve greater resilience to such shocks, African countries must accelerate beneficial trading relationships and private sector growth.

Innovation across all sectors will be more necessary than ever before, providing opportunities for UniTI to deliver significant value and transformational change.

This pandemic has been a stark reminder of the interdependence of the modern world, and the value of sharing expertise.
