Our Strategy

Our Strategy

Operationalizing potential through private sector innovation

A great vision needs an even greater strategy

Our approach to success is through combining the relative strengths of Government, the private sector and development organisations. Our new social enterprise will provide the necessary infrastructure on the ground, to facilitate and incentivise commercial innovation.

We will develop joint plans with African national and local Governments which reflect their priorities. We want to help shift the focus of development away from investment in sectors and siloed interventions to harnessing private, government and philanthropic investment in support of community transformation. This may be towns, rural areas, sub regions or cities.

Our approach

Integrative:

Creating an ecosystem of governments, the private sector and development organisations.

Regional:

Focusing on East Africa region (Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia) and West Africa region (Sierra Leone, Liberia and Ghana.).

Local and Global:

Bringing global capacities to bear on local priorities by working closely with African national and local Governments.

Place-based:

Shifting away from siloed projects to systemic impact, focused especially a key infrastructure and economy-driving projects.

Interfaith:

Recognizing the role that faith place in many countries in Africa and the Middle East, we shall harness common faith values.
